Where Earth Finds Form in the Hand

The Relic Vault houses our most intimate creations – the artifacts designed not just to be seen, but to be carried. It is a space of subtraction and refinement, where raw materials are smoothed into talismans and personal wards.

From the rhythmic, hand-linked weave of chainmaille to the vibrant fusion of reclaimed timber and resin, every piece is a testament to the tactile.

Within these walls, we also preserve the ‘Calmwood’ – sculpted timber wards shaped specifically for the hand, designed to offer a moment of grounded focus in a restless world.

A macro action shot of a hand using a chisel to carve into a block of wood, with a sharp curled shaving of timber rising from the blade against a dark, moody background.

The Sea-Glass Pendant (Fused Wood & Resin)

A study in salvaged beauty and intentional texture.

This piece merges fragments of reclaimed timber with vibrant, sea-green resin, meticulously shaped and honed to capture the characteristic frosted finish of genuine sea glass.

By preserving the rugged ‘live-edge’ where the timber meets the fusion, we have created an artifact that feels like a fragment of a lost coastline – a wearable relic pulled from the edges of the map.

Claim Your Relic: Find Us in the Wild

The artifacts housed within The Relic Vault are designed to be held, felt, and chosen in person.

Every pendant, ward, and hand-linked adornment is a unique response to the material, as such these pieces are kept as exclusive releases for our physical exhibitions and fairs.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, our workshop is focused on stocking the chests for the road ahead. We do not currently take bespoke commissions for these smaller relics, ensuring that every piece found at our stall remains a one-of-a-kind discovery.

To see our latest collection of wards and adornments in person, we invite you to view our upcoming schedule of appearances across Scotland and beyond. Find us at the hearth, and claim your relic from the hoard.
