Pyrography Art & Tabletop Craft
My focus at the bench is the deliberate application of heat to wood.Using fine wire nibs and precise temperature control, I burn detailed illustrations, dark folklore and character studies onto wood, no two pieces are ever quite identical.
That same focus extends into custom woodworking for tabletop players. I build stunning yet functional gaming gear, including bespoke DM screens and accessories designed to bring an authentic, tactile feel to your gaming sessions.
At its heart, my work comes down to patience: respecting the natural grain of the timber, holding clean line work and crafting pieces built to sit proudly on your wall or at your table.
The Mist-Weaver
Ink, Watercolour & Mixed-Media Art
My focus at the studio desk is on building atmospheric, layered artwork on paper.I combine rich ink washes, watercolour and fine-line pen/brush work with gel-press textures, masking techniques and hand-stamping to create depth and mood in every piece.
My subjects are deeply rooted in nature, dark folklore and quiet fantasy. From hidden woodland glades and ancient green men to wildlife studies and subtle magic, each illustration is built up slowly, layer by layer, before adding final touches of detail and light.
For me, the joy lies in the patience of the process: experimenting with pigments, honouring the quiet wonder of the natural world and crafting original artwork designed to bring atmosphere into your home.
Our Workshop & Studio Standards
Every material brought onto our bench or studio desk is chosen with intention. From the timber we craft and the wood that we burn to the wrapping we use on our products, we hold every part of our process to strict material and environmental standards.
- 100% Hand-Crafted Execution:
No assembly lines, template laser-cutters, or outsourced production. Every line burned, background painted and coat of wax applied is completed individually by hand in our Scottish studio. - FSC-Certified Pyrography Canvas:
All of our pyrography artwork is burned exclusively onto FSC-certified birch plywood. This guarantees that our engineered timber canvas comes from responsibly managed forests meeting strict environmental, social and economic standards. - Salvaged & Repurposed Timber:
For our functional woodworking and tabletop gear, we source timber that would otherwise end up in landfill. We give discarded wood a second life by rescuing old furniture, reusing shipping pallets and reclaiming local tree fellings. - Non-Toxic & Safe Finishes:
We seal our woodwork using natural, food-safe hard-wax oils and other traditional, non-toxic finishes. They protect the timber, enhance the burned grain and remain completely safe for your home and our workspace. - Conscious Packaging & Dispatch:
We protect our artwork and tabletop gear using recyclable and low-impact packaging materials wherever possible, ensuring your piece arrives safely without unnecessary plastic waste.
