We craft two distinct styles within our box collection. Our stained timber boxes use gentle water-based stains to highlight natural grain patterns, sealed with a food-safe hardwax oil finish for a rich, silky texture. Our painted boxes showcase individual hand-painted artwork, sealed with a water-based universal fixative to protect the design without harsh chemical fumes.

Materials & Craft Breakdown
- Water-Based Stains & Hardwax Oil:
Our stained timber boxes are treated with non-toxic, eco-conscious water-based stains and finished with a food-safe hardwax oil that nourishes the timber and enhances natural grain. - Hand-Painted Artwork & Universal Fixative:
Our painted boxes feature hand-applied artwork protected with a durable water-based universal fixative to preserve colour and detail without harsh solvent residues. - Sculpted Resin Mouldings:
Three-dimensional resin castings and ornate corner details applied to create physical depth, texture and tactile relief. - A Variety of Sizes:
Crafted across various compact, medium and tabletop sizes to suit different spaces and storage needs. - Hardware & Closures:
Fitted with antiqued metal latches, hinges and decorative clasps chosen to complement the character of each piece.
Care & Specifications
- Stained Box Care:
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. The food-safe hardwax oil seal keeps the timber protected and can be easily refreshed over time with very small amounts of natural bees wax. - Painted Box Care:
Dust gently with a dry microfibre cloth. The water-based universal fixative protects the painted surface from light daily wear. - Versatile Storage:
Available in a range of sizes suited for keeping personal jewellery, desk treasures, gaming accessories or small mementos.

Because these pieces are crafted as one-off designs, we bring them directly to our live market stalls and convention tables where you can explore the artwork up close, open them up and check the space inside for your own keepsakes.
